By using the qualitative analysis of statements, interviews, conversations and books, articles and historical documents related to Imam Khomeini (RA) as data sources, and relying on the theory of media convergence, this research has been able to find the model of Imam Khomeini in using the media to advance the movement. to discover and explain in the last one hundred years. In fact, this article is a research answer to the question, what kind of model did Imam Khomeini use the media to advance the movement? Based on the findings of the research, Imam Khomeini, relying on Islamic principles of monotheism and the system of ijtihad, planned the intellectual foundations of convergence between traditional and modern media among popular and elite human forces, and by activating traditional media and convergence between the functions of traditional and modern media based on values Islamic, to display a new model in the use of media in advancing the movement. A model that led to the unity of the revolutionary forces and the liberation of a nation from tyranny.
