Abstract
The city in Islam as a distinct structure is a means of expressing religious and sacred concepts. The language used in Islam is related to the concept of Zikr (mention). This article focuses on the concept of mention in the Islamic city. Elements and forms, in addition to the aesthetic aspects, are a means to make man feel in front of God. The main research question is which of these forms can be the most effective reminder (Tazkir)? The research method in this paper is based on two combinational methods, descriptive-analytical and survey. Therefore, after preparing the theoretical framework, based on Delphi method, the research components were presented to thirty experts including field professors and universities. These people should have research on the subject. In the process, there are eight areas to be mentioned in the Islamic city. Results show that the most effective citation tools include acoustic cues, physical index elements, activities, and framework
