Abstract
The novel is a literary genre that explores the existential capacities of man while appealing and using imagination. The latter is entirely related to ethics. Writing a moral novel is not a matter of custom, but its author must also be adept at mastering the art of storytelling. In addition, the interplay of ethics and the novel cannot be denied. Ethics can play a key role in the writing of the novel, just as the novel can have a moral impact on the reader and even the author. The reader's influence on the novel is a complex issue that has to do with a number of issues, including: 1. The reader's degree of appropriateness and alignment with the novel's and the novelist's imagination and aptitude; And the moral of the reader or its flexibility. The effectiveness of the reader depends on the characteristics of the novel, its author's characteristics, as well as the characteristics of the reader himself. A closer look at the novel is a line of communication for the reader to encounter the author, with all their human traits and dimensions.
